Embarking on a transformative journey, Bayside Hotel & Apartments Geelong is excited to announce a significant redevelopment at 13-15 The Esplanade Geelong. With a goal to create a fully integrated 4.5-star establishment, our General Manager, Mr. Kevin Robe, envisions guest rooms and amenities that reflect the evolving needs of the Greater Geelong accommodation sector.


With a legacy that traces back to 1962 as the Hamilton Hume Motor Inn, we've continuously evolved to meet the demands of the modern traveler. The ongoing redevelopment project will elevate us further, with plans to expand to 110 guest rooms and apartments. This transformation involves demolishing 38 existing rooms and introducing 80 new ones, showcasing a variety of offerings.


Expect one and two-bedroom self-contained apartments with bay views, Studio apartments, Bay & City view suites, and Superior King rooms. Inclusivity is paramount, as we proudly offer an industry-leading number of accessible rooms. The redevelopment extends beyond accommodations, boasting two restaurants and bars that cater to both guests and Geelong residents, elevating your dining experiences.


Complementing our offerings are multiple function, conference, and event spaces, a fitness center, sauna, and an indoor lap pool for your wellness and leisure. Sustainability aligns with our values, evident in secure underground parking for 75 vehicles, equipped with many EV charging stations.
