We've invested in advanced energy-saving technologies, including a 100kW solar array, Energy Recovery Ventilation (ERV) systems in all guest rooms and common areas, and an integrated Building Management System (BMS) to optimise performance. Our sealed building envelope, double-glazed windows, and top-tier insulation under slab and throughout help ensure maximum energy efficiency.

Guest rooms are equipped with energy management systems, and common areas feature smart lighting controls that automatically adjust based on occupancy. We’ve also installed LED lighting throughout and water-saving shower heads to further reduce our environmental impact. With EV charging stations available for guests, we're proud to support a cleaner, greener future while providing a modern, comfortable stay.

At Franca’s Ristorante, our sustainability journey continues through every plate we serve. We believe that great food starts with mindful decisions—from sourcing fresh, local ingredients to how we run our kitchen. By working closely with regional farmers and producers, we reduce food miles and support the community that supports us. Our seasonal menu helps cut waste, improves quality, and fosters a deeper connection to the land. In the kitchen, we practice nose-to-tail and root-to-stem cooking, composting food scraps and creatively minimizing waste. Franca’s isn’t about perfection—it’s about intention. Every dish, every choice, and every guest experience reflects our belief that food should nourish not just people, but the planet too.
