A NEW ERA FOR BAYSIDE GEELONG HOTEL & APARTMENTS
Embarking on a transformative journey to set a new benchmark for luxury in Geelong, Bayside Geelong Hotel & Apartments is excited to announce a significant redevelopment at 13-15 The Esplanade Geelong. This exciting redevelopment once complete will offer guests all the amenities expected of a 4.5 star hotel.
With a legacy that traces back to 1962 as the Hamilton Hume Motor Inn, the hotel has continuously evolved to meet the demands of the modern traveller. The ongoing redevelopment project will elevate the hotel further, with plans to expand to 110 guest rooms and apartments. This transformation involves demolishing 38 existing rooms and introducing 80 new ones, showcasing a variety of offerings.
Accommodation offered to guests will soon include a mixture of Standard King Rooms, Superior King Rooms, Deluxe Studio Apartments, One and Two-Bedroom Apartments. Inclusivity was paramount to the hotels redevelopment thinking and will offer an industry-leading number of accessible rooms.
Complementing the hotel offerings are multiple conference, and event spaces, a fitness centre, sauna, and an indoor lap pool for guest wellness and leisure. Sustainability aligns with the hotel values and will offer secure underground parking for 75 vehicles, equipped with many EV charging stations.
Hotel Lobby
Our newly designed lobby will offer a blend of modern elegance and comfort. The lobby is bathed in natural light, complemented by stylish overhead lighting fixtures and comfortable seating areas with blue accents, creating a welcoming atmosphere perfect for relaxation or socializing.
Superior King Room
Our luxurious redesigned rooms have been created for ultimate comfort, offering a serene retreat with neutral tones and blue accents. Each Superior King Room will offer guests a king-sized bed, corner lounge, flat-screen TV and mini-bar fridge.
Franca's Restaurant
Nestled within the vibrant heart of the hotel, guest can find Franca’s Restaurant & Bar a modern Italian-inspired restaurant that exudes an inviting blend of contemporary elegance and rustic charm. Its open-concept design features warm wooden accents, exposed brick feature tiles, and a large bar.
Pool and Sauna
Our 14-metre pool exudes elegance with its sleek design, framed by stylish loungers, creating an inviting ambiance perfect for a refreshing dip. The sauna invites guests into a realm of tranquillity, where warm, fragrant steam envelops you, providing a luxurious escape from the outside world.
