A NEW ERA FOR BAYSIDE GEELONG HOTEL & APARTMENTS


Embarking on a transformative journey to set a new benchmark for luxury in Geelong, Bayside Geelong Hotel & Apartments is excited to announce a significant redevelopment at 13-15 The Esplanade Geelong. This exciting redevelopment once complete will offer guests all the amenities expected of a 4.5 star hotel.


With a legacy that traces back to 1962 as the Hamilton Hume Motor Inn, the hotel has continuously evolved to meet the demands of the modern traveller. The ongoing redevelopment project will elevate the hotel further, with plans to expand to 110 guest rooms and apartments. This transformation involves demolishing 38 existing rooms and introducing 80 new ones, showcasing a variety of offerings.


Accommodation offered to guests will soon include a mixture of Standard King Rooms, Superior King Rooms, Deluxe Studio Apartments, One and Two-Bedroom Apartments. Inclusivity was paramount to the hotels redevelopment thinking and will offer an industry-leading number of accessible rooms. 


Complementing the hotel offerings are multiple conference, and event spaces, a fitness centre, sauna, and an indoor lap pool for guest wellness and leisure. Sustainability aligns with the hotel values and will offer secure underground parking for 75 vehicles, equipped with many EV charging stations.
